Curator of Archaeology
Norwich Castle Museum

I studied Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic, then and Archaeology for my degree at Cambridge and then did a PhD at the University of East Anglia, looking at the foundation and landscape setting of monasteries in East Anglia. I worked in field archaeology for several years before becoming Curator of Archaeology at Norwich Castle Museum and Art Gallery where I look after the post-Roman collections. I have an interest in Anglo-Saxon settlement and, in particular, Middle Anglo-Saxon trade and exchange networks and medieval monasteries.
